Our innovative programs Annual Clothing Drive, Makeover Giveaways, and Mobile Outreach bring warmth, confidence, and connection to underserved communities. Mission: To restore hope and dignity by providing clothing, hygiene kits, and resources to Atlanta’s underserved, fostering community and healing hearts through every donation.
Vision: A world where every individual feels valued and empowered, with access to essentials that spark confidence and opportunity.
Goals: Expand our Mobile Outreach to reach more homeless individuals, grow our Annual Clothing Drive to serve 1,000+ families annually by 2027, and transform lives through 50+ Makeover Giveaways for deserving parents by 2026. With the leadership of our team—Latoya Carter’s strategic vision, Matt Murray’s operational excellence, Annie Murray’s financial stewardship, Nicole Givens’ grant expertise, and Allison and Chantell Shy’s volunteer dedication—we’re turning these goals into reality.
Our Accomplishements
Since our founding, The Healing Closet Corp. has made a profound impact in Atlanta. We’ve distributed over 5,000 clothing items and hygiene kits through our Annual Clothing Drive, bringing warmth to families in need. Our Mobile Outreach truck has reached 1,200+ individuals experiencing homelessness, delivering essentials directly to underserved areas. Through our Makeover Giveaways, we’ve empowered 15 single parents with transformative styling experiences, boosting their confidence and reminding them they’re valued.
